This privacy notice is issued pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter "GDPR") and describes the modalities of processing of personal data of users of the website www.drin.it and of the DRIN PRO — Unified Cloud Communication services.

1. Data Controller

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

The website and the DRIN PRO services process the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact data: first name, last name, email, telephone, company — provided voluntarily through the forms on the website.
  • Browsing data: IP addresses, browser type, operating system, pages visited, dwell time — collected automatically through cookies and system logs.
  • Communication data: call recordings, transcriptions, chat messages, voicemail — generated by the use of the UCaaS services.
  • Corporate data: PBX configurations, internal directories, contacts, CDR (Call Detail Records) — managed through the DRIN PRO platform.

3. Purposes and Legal Basis of the Processing

Personal data are processed for the following purposes:

  • Service provision: provision of the UCaaS cloud PBX and connected services (legal basis: performance of a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Responding to requests: contacting users following demo requests, information or support (legal basis: consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Legal compliance: invoicing, tax records, regulatory compliance (legal basis: legal obligation — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Security and fraud prevention: monitoring of communications to prevent abuse and ensure service security (legal basis: legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Marketing and newsletter: sending commercial communications, only upon explicit consent (legal basis: consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Retention Period

Personal data are retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected:

  • Contact data (demo requests): 24 months from the last contact.
  • Browsing data (logs): 12 months, save in case of investigations.
  • Call recordings and CDR: according to the customer's configuration, default 12 months.
  • Billing data: 10 years (statutory obligation).
  • Active customer data: for the entire duration of the contractual relationship + 12 months.

5. Recipients of the Data

Data may be processed by authorised personnel of Skillworks S.r.l. and by the following categories of recipients:

  • Cloud service providers (Yeastar P-Series Cloud Edition, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure);
  • AI providers (OpenAI, Google, ElevenLabs, Amazon) — exclusively for the AI transcription and synthesis service;
  • Tax and legal advisors;
  • Public authorities, where required by law.

Data are hosted in Italian datacenters owned by Skillworks S.r.l. (DC1 Roncadelle, DC2 Bologna). No data are transferred outside the European Union, except for third-party AI services where the transfer takes place under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (Articles 44-49).

6. Rights of the Data Subject

Pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, the data subject has the right to:

  • Access their personal data (Art. 15);
  • Obtain rectification (Art. 16);
  • Obtain erasure (Art. 17 — "right to be forgotten");
  • Restrict the processing (Art. 18);
  • Receive the data in a structured format (portability — Art. 20);
  • Object to the processing (Art. 21);
  • Withdraw the consent given (Art. 7(3));
  • Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the Italian Data Protection Authority — www.garanteprivacy.it).
